What Happens in Our Simulation and XR Lab?

Our lab features High-Fidelity, Mixed Reality, Virtual Reality and Standardized Patient Simulations. These advanced tools allow students to experience real-world scenarios in a safe, controlled environment, preparing them for the demands of healthcare practice.

• Nursing students practice patient assessment and complex condition management using lifelike manikins.
• EMS students train for emergency response through scenarios that mimic the intensity of real-life medical crises.
• Respiratory Therapy students refine critical life-saving techniques, managing respiratory emergencies in high-stakes simulations.

• Victoria, the Mixed Reality Birthing Simulator: Experience lifelike birthing simulations that allow students to visualize internal anatomy and fetal movements, preparing them for the demands of labor and delivery.
