Everything you need to know for Election Day, November 3, 2020

Voting is one of the most important ways you can affect the future of our country – and your future. We have a responsibility to be engaged participants in our democracy. Cavaliers vote!

Voter Registration
Register to vote at your municipal clerk’s office by Oct. 30. You can also register to vote in person at a polling place on Election Day, Nov. 3.

Return your Absentee Ballot – by October 27!
To ensure your ballot is counted, mail your absentee ballot by October 27. Election officials must receive completed and signed (by you and a witness) by Nov. 3 .

Vote Early In-Person
Municipalities may offer in-person absentee voting Oct. 20–Nov. 1. Check with local election officials for locations and the exact schedule in your area.

Voting on November 3
Plan ahead and look up your polling place. So far, no plans to close polling places have been announced.

At myvote.wi.gov you can register to vote, check your voter registration status, find your polling place, see what's on your ballot, request an absentee ballot, and check provisional ballot status.
