A way for students to gain relevant and collaborative experiences that grow our communities. Typically the experiences are short term and help a community organization to meet a very specific need.

Now, more than ever, service is necessary to tackle the most pressing issues of our times, and Americans across the country are accepting the challenge. Western is a recognizing body for the national President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA), which distinguishes, celebrates, and inspires community service leaders and volunteers to lead the charge. Western students are invited to apply and be recognized by our nation's president for being active citizens.
