What is it?
A two-year academy focused on information technology and programming. Academy participants may take classes taught by Western faculty on Western’s La Crosse campus or experience the full class via a face-to-face virtual format. Upon completion of the two-year academy, students will earn 12 college credits that are part of the Computer Support Specialist, Computer Support Technician, and Web and Software Developer programs.

High school juniors and seniors.
How much does it cost?
Western and participating school districts have developed an agreement to cover tuition costs. Contact your counselor to find out about eligibility through your high school.

What is the schedule?
The academy has a fall and spring term, just like traditional college courses. The fall term runs from September through mid-December. The spring term runs January through April. Classes are scheduled Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m.-8:40 a.m.
