Veteran Assistance at Western:

Veterans Services has moved to 2nd Floor Academic Resource Center R202.

Western Technical College is approved by the Wisconsin State Approving Agency and the Federal Department of Veterans Affairs to provide training to veterans, active service members, survivors and dependents of a deceased or disabled veteran. You can get more information about VA education benefits from Western's Veteran service office located in the Academic Resource Center R202 or by contacting your local county Veterans Service Officer.

Please be aware that everyone currently using the WIGI bill that plans to continue using it for Spring Has to have VERIFICATION OF CONTINUED ELIGIBILITY FOR WISCONSIN G.I. BILL BENEFITS form on record by the 14th day of the semester, If it is not, you will be denied the WIGI Bill for spring we can't make any exceptions! Please forward completed documents to our office.

W.A.V.E- WEB AUTOMATED VERIFICATION OF EMROLLMENT

All veterans using chapter 30, 1607 and active solders using 1606 have to verify enrollment on the last day of every month they are enrolled and attending in order to get paid. the monthly student verification can be done by calling the st. louis number (1.877.823.2378) or by the wave verification. RECERTIFICATION REQUEST FORM

All benefit recipients have to fill this form out each semester after registering so the school official can certify your enrollment to ensure you get your benefits. Download the Recertification Form.
